Amy Lovat
Amy Lovat
Director / Speech Pathologist
Amy has worked in the private sector in both school and clinic environments for over 10 years. She has worked with children from birth up to 18 years, as well as young adults. Amy graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) in 2009. Amy has also completed a Masters of Applied Science researching the link between perceptions and practices in literacy instruction.
Amy has experience with working with children who have language difficulties, speech sound difficulties, stuttering, and literacy difficulties, as well as children with a range of diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorders and developmental delay.
Amy has a special interest working with children experiencing literacy difficulties. She also enjoys working with young adults to increase their skills in everyday real life situations. Amy enjoys sharing her knowledge with early career therapists as the team at Support Focus Therapies grows.
Amy is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) Member of Speech Pathology Australia, and a registered provider with Medicare, health funds and NDIS.
Lauren
Lauren
Speech Pathologist
Lauren is a caring, warm and friendly Speech Pathologist who is passionate about helping others. She strongly believes in providing the best level of care to her clients and strives to make a significant difference in people’s lives.

Lauren has completed a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences from Macquarie University. During this time she has developed the knowledge and skills to effectively work together with children and adults with a range of communication difficulties including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability.

As a bilingual speaker of English and Korean, Lauren has a particular interest in working with families of cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Lauren is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Brooke
Occupational therapist - supervisor
Brooke is an enthusiastic and creative Occupational Therapist who values a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy, working closely with families, teaching staff and allied health professionals to support effective and sustainable outcomes for all her clients.

Brooke has many years experience working in both the adult and paediatric sector. She is also an experience mentor and supervisor..
Brooke is experienced in supporting children and families in a range of areas, including self-care, sensory processing, emotional regulation, handwriting, social and play skills.
Brooke is a certified practising member of the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, is registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a registered provider with Medicare,​
Laura
Laura
Speech Pathologist
Laura is a bubbly, friendly speech pathologist who strives to make a difference in the lives of others. She is particularly passionate about working with children with speech sound disorders.
Laura is a firm believer in the importance of empowering her clients to communicate to the very best of their ability. She loves to see her clients grow in their confidence as they learn to communicate effectively. She seeks to build up the skills of her clients so that they may successfully form meaningful relationships with those around them.
Laura completed her Bachelors degree in Speech Pathology at The University of Sydney. She is a current certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Renee
Allied Health Assistant
Renee is a passionate and enthusiastic speech pathology allied health assistant.
She works closely with families and carers to assist individuals in reaching their speech and language goals. She has experience working with and supporting individuals of all ages, from young children to adults.
Renee has completed a Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Sciences from Macquarie University and is currently completing a Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Technology Sydney.
She is currently a student member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Houda
Allied Health Assistant
Houda is a dedicated and compassionate speech Allied Health Assistant with a passion for supporting individuals in achieving their communication goals.
Driven by a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others, Houda works closely with speech pathologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support to clients. She is committed to delivering high-quality care and personalised interventions that address each individual's unique needs and preferences. With a warm and empathetic approach, Houda establishes trusting relationships with clients and their families, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for therapy sessions.

Houda is currently studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the Australian Catholic University.
Laura
Allied Health Assistant
Laura is an enthusiastic and cheerful Allied health assistant, who has great interest in paediatric occupational therapy.

Laura is dedicated to her role as an allied health assistant and looks forward to ensuring clients goals are met, allowing for a better quality of life for them and those around them.
She is currently in her final years of study at University and has been working as an allied health assistant for over a year and joined our team in early 2023.
During this time, she has expressed passion in support clients with reaching their goals to better their quality of life. Laura's approach to therapy is client-focused and she understands the importance of tailoring intervention to meet the need of the client.

Josephine
Allied Health Assistant
Josephine is a friendly Occupational Therapy Assistant who wants to help people by collaborating and supporting them in achieving their goals.
She has placement experience in working with children in a rural primary school focusing on handwriting, emotional regulation and attention difficulties and is passionate about expanding her experience and knowledge to be able to support her clients better.

She is finishing her final year of a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at the University of Sydney and is interested in working in a paediatric setting after graduating.

Kirra is dedicated to her role as an allied health assistant and looks forward to ensuring clients goals are met, allowing for a better quality of life.
Kirra joined our team in 2021 and is in her final year of university study.
